Visa Direct Portal — EVA (Enhanced Visa Assistant)
I led the design of an AI-powered search and insights experience within the Visa Direct Portal, enabling users to retrieve and understand transaction data using natural language. The goal was to simplify complex financial workflows by combining traditional search with a conversational AI assistant, helping users move faster, reduce friction, and gain clearer insights into transaction activity.

High Cognitive Load
Users must translate their intent into system logic, making simple tasks feel complex and time-consuming.
Limited Discoverability
The system lacks flexibility to support exploratory queries, making it difficult to surface relevant results without precise inputs.
